Order Custom, Handmade Jewelry
ORDERS: First, allow the photos on the web site to give you a sense of my work so that when you order a piece from me, you will feel confident that your piece will be well-made and artistic. Please read the Testimonials. If you would like to speak to some of my customers on the telephone, ask me for referrals.
If you know what you want, describe it to me. If you are not sure what you want, the photos should help. For instance, you may call me and say that you like the necklace #1, but would prefer something in blue, shorter and with a centerpiece. Or you might say that you like the technique used in #6 but don't want such a large necklace. Perhaps you have something you already own which you would like to use as a centerpiece in a necklace of my design. Or I can take a piece of estate jewelry that seems terrific but outmoded and unwearable, and rework it into something totally fabulous and current. Some people have an outfit in mind and would like a piece of jewelry to wear with it. Remember that I won't be playing a passive role in this discussion. I will have lots of ideas! I will also ask you many questions so that together we can zero in on a design that will make you happy.
When you call me, have a tape measure handy. That's all you will need to get the ball rolling. I'll take care of eliciting the remaining information necessary to create a wonderful piece of jewelry just for you. You can make your initial contact with me via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or telephone (650-598-0491). If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am happy to make an appointment to meet with you at my studio
TIMING: Depending on my current deadlines, I may be able to make your jewelry this week, or you might have to wait a couple of months. We will discuss this when you place your order. I will do everything in my power to fulfill your timing needs.
PAYMENT: I accept Visa, Mastercard, cash and checks. If you are ordering a custom piece, I ask for 50% of the estimated cost in advance. (Please see my Testimonials for references.)
RETURNS: I will do what I can to be sure you are happy with your jewelry. When fulfilling a custom order, I go to great lengths to be sure that what you want and what I hear and interpret is the same thing. That could involve written descriptions, drawings, digital photos to you of a design layout, comparisons to other pieces, etc. Even in the final piece, if there is a change that must be made, an alteration, I am happy to do that. Because I am a small business, I do not give refunds.
STUDIO VISITS: My studio is located on the San Francisco Peninsula, about half way between San Francisco and San Jose. I usually have inventory on hand, so if you would like to stop by and shop (or place your order in person), simply call and make an appointment. While I don't generally have photographs of earrings on the web site, I almost always have many earrings in my inventory.
GALLERY AND SHOP OWNERS: My web site prices are based on keystone pricing. Contact me for details.
